Tourism is one of the most important industries in the service sector. Malaysia, with its abundance of natural beauty and cultural diversity, offers year-round tourism attractions. Tourist spending can lead to an increase in income and employment for the local community. Tourism also allows locals to keep up with their traditional cultural practices. As the number of tourists visiting Malaysia grows each year, so will the demand for skilled workers and tourism experts in the coming years.
This programme equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage a successful tourism destination and its related business activities. It is also designed to prepare graduates to be entrepreneurs capable of leading and managing their businesses by providing them with the legal knowledge, social and ethical skills, and life-long learning that they will need to start, nurture, and grow their business.

A minimum CGPA of 2.50 or CGPA 2.00 with at least 2 years working experience in relevant field, subject to Senate / Academic Board’s approval. 3. Applicants will be required to pass the admission screening process conducted by the faculty and undergo the Bridging programme, if necessary, during the period of their study in addition to the existing curriculum structure. 4. Credit transfer can be considered on a case-to-case basis and subject to existing credit transfer policies which are in effect.
